Chapter 19- Creating

devise a plan that Katniss could use to better disguise the cave. either draw it out or explain in words.

    Katniss could use rocks to build a wall over the mouth of the cave and cover it with sticks and mud and branches. She could up root a tree and plant it near the wall as to keep off any suspicion.

    I like your idea of building a wall, Olivia. The best way to conceal the cave is to make it blend into its surroundings. In order to do that, Katniss needs to make more structures with the rocks that resemble the cave. This will make their cave invisible.

    Katniss should use the largest stones she can move to create a homogenous environment surrounding the mouth of the cave. She should use moss and mud to make the all the rocks look weathered and old, like they have not been moved. Sticks and leaves should be carefully placed around so as to conceal footprints and waterr runoff.

    Katniss could and should ask peeta for suggestions to conceal the cave entrance. She could use other rocks and sticks to cover the entrance. A fallen tree would make a good concealer as well. Her best chance is to ask Peeta for help or advice when he can think straight and form a sentence.
