Chapter 20- Evaluating

Choose an element (fire, water, etc.) and explain how that certain element could help cure Peeta.

    Water is an element that can help Peeta because it helps keep his wound clean. Without water, Peeta's wound could get infected. I hope I read your question right, Olivia.

    I think fire would help because it could cauterize the wound and kill the infection. It would hurt...well... a lot... but it would do some good. the wound would be closed and free of infection (I think...).

    Earth can draw out infection in Peeta's leg as well as shield it from bacteria outside the wound. For those who do not understand, I mean moss and soil. The cave could be effectively shielded with some moss as well.

    I agre with Caroline about the water. If Peeta had water, he could clean out his wound and keep from dying of thirst. But I do see a valid point to what Chloe had said about the earth because it IS like a shield and what Owen said about fire because of sterilization.

    Owen, your solution might make the situation worse. However, it would be cool if the wound turned into a burn and then Katniss used her special burn medicine to heal it.
