  1. Katniss' interview was not what I expected from her. I expected her to take the pity route, saying she had worked so hard all her life and had no food and was just lucky to be here. Katniss instead played the mysterious girl next door. Actually, that was a good tactic because it left the other tributes with nothing to use against her. However, I would have advised Katniss to talk a little more, but about useless things, like her room, and the city. This would have made her even more likable to the crowd but not revealing much to her fellow tributes.

  2. I think Katniss seemed a little weak and lame in her interview. She was right to talk about things the other tributes could not use against her, but she still could have sounded a little stronger. She could have done something other than just standing there spinning around in her dress. The twirling and the giggling made her look weak and pitiful. Katniss should have gone for something a little tougher than what she did but not too terribly far from her normal self.

  3. Katniss was so scared for that interview that she hardly let go. I think she did the right thing about looking happy and she did not look weak. She had already proved herself to be strong, now she needed to look determined and happy. She did the happy part correctly but I think her answers could have been a little more clear and precise. Of course no everyone looked at her like she was a cute little happy brave girl who no one wanted to die...therefore, i think her interview was a complete success.

  4. Katniss did not live up to my expectations during her interview. Up to that point, Katniss had gained my respect more and more. I would have expected a much stronger and less girly interview from her. If I were Katniss, I would be embarrassed by my performance. I understand that everyone had a tactic at which they went about their interview. I suppose Katniss' tactic was to act herself. However, I don't imagine Katniss' personality includes spinning and giggling. Also, the Capitol and the other tributes already knew she was not weak. Her scores in training already told them that. Therefore, it was pointless to go about a tactic that no one would believe. I know that I am being harsh considering her situation. However, as an interview goes, I think her performance was lacking.
